Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Vendor Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing vendor relationships, ensuring the alignment of vendor capabilities with our business objectives, and driving sales growth through effective account management and business development strategies. This position requires a strong background in technology sales and the ability to analyze market trends to optimize vendor performance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze & Improve: Evaluate account performance, identify growth opportunities, and maximize profitability.
  • Lead Negotiations: Manage complex contract negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms.
  • Build Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Use tools like SQL and PowerBI to analyze data and inform key business decisions.
  • Coordinate Operations: Oversee promotions, manage schedules, and ensure smooth operational processes.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Salesforce for tracking sales activities and managing vendor relationships.
  • 2 years as an Account or Vendor Manager in an ecommerce environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); SQL experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong understanding of technology sales processes and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proven experience in account management and business development within a sales environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in technical sales is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
