What are the responsibilities and job description for the Picker/Packer position at FW Logistics?

Position Summary: FW Logistics is an experienced logistic service provider that is big enough to handle supply chain logistics needs while still being small enough to give specialized service. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Senior Picker / Packer for Warehouse Operations. The person in this role is responsible for picking ticket orders. Pulling the items from location based on number, size, color quantity and quality.

$16 per hour.
First Shift Monday through Friday 7AM – 3:30 PM

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Represent FW Logistics in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
Fill customer orders using a pick list or Rf Scanner
Prepare order for shipment according to company standards
Ensures accuracy of order
Operate material handling equipment
Pull cases or single picks from shelves based on various requirements
Stage items for delivery
Serve as backup for the Quality Control/Inventory Specialist Position
Must be able to meet the attendance expectation
Must be able to work overtime if required
Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1-year experience working in a warehouse, fulfillment center or industrial setting.

Physical Demands: Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Safely walk, reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, crawl, balance and kneel. Must be able to work in a warehouse environment where temperature fluctuates based on seasonality.
