Job Summary:
As an Accounting/Operations Specialist you will perform accounting and bank operational tasks. The operations department has the major functions of ensuring that all deposit and loan accounts are properly processed, customer facing applications are supported, bank financial records are reconciled, and all departments are supported to provide excellent financial products and services to our customers. The operations department also includes functions in loan servicing, item processing, document imaging, wire transfers, tax reporting and computer/network support. You will also provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers by responding to inquiries and resolving operational issues and concerns in a timely manner.
Job Requirements:

· Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel

· Ability to identify, research and solve problems

· Previous banking experience is strongly preferred, but not a requirement. Willing to train the right individual
Specific Job Functions:
· Process Accounts Payable
· Review and reconciliation of bank correspondence accounts and leger accounts
· Assist with Budget/Financial forecasting
· Review and maintain proof of insurance coverage for customer collateral
· Pay Insurance on loan escrow account, assist with semi-annual tax payments
· Scan Deposit and Loan documents to Aurora Scanning Software
· Review Scanned documents and Account input for accuracy
· Exception item resolution, work on resolving issues with critical documents
· Assist with other accounting/operational duties as assigned
· Provide customer service primarily by phone to external customers for all account related questions and issues
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
