We are looking for a Program Manager for a full-time position to provide business and administrative support services to supplement the technical civilian workforce for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division at Keyport, WA.
SUMMARY
Among other responsibilities, the Program Manager oversees plans and develops methods and procedures for implementing work, directs and coordinates tasks, and exercises control over personnel responsible for the execution of the statement of work. Selects personnel according to knowledge and experience. Communicates with employees to explain task order responsibilities and oversee performance. Review reports and records of activities to ensure progress toward specified objectives and modify or change methodology as required to redirect activities and attain objectives. Prepares program reports. Controls expenditures following budget allocations.
Requirements
- At least a bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Communication or related, and Proven working experience as a Project Manager
- Highly desired Certificate in Project Management or Lean Principles, and technical program-related experience in a government contracting environment working with cost-type contracts.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar project management tools
- Time management skills to meet deadlines
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- $115,000 to 160,000 annually, commensurate to education, experience, and skill set.
