Greensboro Country Club, one of North Carolina's premier private clubs, is seeking a dynamic and passionate Pickleball and Tennis Professional to join our team. Following a $19 million renovation, our club boasts state-of-the-art racquet sports facilities and a vibrant, engaged membership community.
This role offers the unique opportunity to lead the growth of our pickleball program while enhancing our tennis offerings, with a particular focus on women's and junior player development. We are looking for a professional who shares our dedication to providing exceptional experiences and fostering a strong sense of community through racquet sports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruction: Provide private and group lessons for all levels in both pickleball and tennis, including juniors (ages 4-18), junior team tennis, and women's competitive teams (2.5 - 5.0 players).
- Develop lesson plans tailored to individual and group needs, focusing on skill development, strategy, and overall performance.
- Build positive relationships with members by fostering a welcoming and professional environment.
- Coordinate Leagues: Responsible for organizing and constructing in-house ladder leagues as well as inter-club leagues.
- Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with a team of teaching professionals, reporting directly to the Director of Racquet Sports.
Candidate Attributes:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of full-time teaching experience with all ages and skill levels in both.
- Playing Background: College-level and tournament playing experience preferred.
- Coaching Skills: Proven ability to coach women's competitive teams and junior players of all levels.
- Energy & Innovation: High energy with a strong drive for achievement and the proven ability to implement innovative ideas.
- Administrative Skills: Strong promotional, administrative, and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: Competitive base salary plus commission on lessons and clinics, with total compensation ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually.
