Business Systems Director
Overview: GrowGeneration is one of the largest retailers of hydroponic products in the United States and is engaged in the business of marketing and distributing horticultural, organics, lighting and hydroponics products, including lighting fixtures, nutrients, seeds and growing media, systems, trays, fans, filters, humidifiers and dehumidifiers, timers, instruments, water pumps, irrigation supplies and hand tools.
Position Reports To: CFO
Salary Range: $160K - $200K / DOE
- Posting to remain open until at least 11/30/2024
Purpose of Position: Support in the implementation, operation and maintenance of NetSuite and other related business systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage the day-to-day operations and development of NetSuite and other systems, including POS, WMS, Middleware, E-commerce, etc. solutions
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders in the business in regard to software selection, implementation and integration
- Track and manage open cases to resolution within ticketing system, escalate as needed.
- Gather client requirements and document functional specifications for change and/or enhancement requests.
- Help to create and maintain all system documentation.
- Complete project tasks as assigned, on time and budget.
- Perform and document system testing for upgrades, updates, enhancements, and preview releases.
- Adheres to the financial reporting, information security and auditing requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years functional Business Systems experience, including 5 years of direct NetSuite experience
- Strong understanding of all NetSuite’s core functions
- Extensive experience assessing system configuration, business processes and ERP optimization
- Experience with WMS, POS, and middleware
- Develop project plans, allocate resources and monitor progress for all business systems related projects
- Proven experience in managing cross functional teams
- Direct experience with Supply Chain modules and Inventory Management is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication
