Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing Business Development team. The SDR will be responsible for creating new business, involving identifying and qualifying potential leads, setting appointments, and generating interest in our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential leads through various sources, including databases, social media, and market research.
  • Reach out to prospects via phone, email, and social media to introduce our products or services.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to determine their potential interest and fit.
  • Schedule introductory meetings for the Business Development team with qualified prospects.
  • Attend in-person networking events, meetings, and industry conferences to build relationships with prospects.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, interactions, and lead status.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to refine messaging and outreach strategies.
  • Meet or exceed monthly lead generation and appointment-setting targets.
  • Assist the Business Development team in the process of closing deals by providing relevant information, coordinating meetings, and ensuring a smooth transition from prospect to client
  • Continuously develop knowledge of industry trends, product offerings, and competitive landscape.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in sales, customer service, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Comfortable with cold calling, emailing, and social selling.
  • Ability to travel up to 85% of the time as needed for in-person networking and meetings.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM tools is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow within a Business Development career.
