Description
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accountant will be a key team member of the Finance function and will execute crucial accounting processes of the company. This role will own accounting processes related to the company’s Digital Commerce business unit including reviewing media dollars under management, invoicing, and monthly reconciliations. This role will work with management to accurately report, analyze, and manage media spend and revenue.
We do require that this role is based in Rogers, AR. If you do not currently reside in Northwest Arkansas, please note that relocation will not be covered by Harvest Group.
Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end close items for Digital Commerce business unit
- Collections of outstanding invoices for Digital Commerce business unit
- Contract management for Digital Commerce clients
- Monthly accrual and management of client media campaigns
- Perform period-end close activities including journal entries, supporting schedules, as well as reconciliations
- Recommend and develop accounting processes, systems, and controls to scale with business growth, including documentation of policies and procedures
- Ownership of client onboarding and offboarding, including maintenance of client contract systems
- Ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis
Requirements
- Radical curiosity of retail and the constantly changing marketplace

- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Must be detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables and complex formulas
- Experience in maintaining and improving accounting systems
Preferred
- Experience using Oracle Cloud applications and NetSuite
- Experience working with multiple retailers including retail media
- Experience maintaining and improving financial controls and processes
- Experience owning multiple month-end close processes including revenue recognition procedures
