Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy to enhance restaurant operations and align with company goals.
- Oversee and manage systems such as NCR Aloha POS, Olo, Hot Schedules, and Opentable.
- Lead and mentor an IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and performance.
- Establish and maintain relationships with technology vendors to ensure top-tier support and service.
- Manage the planning, execution, and monitoring of large-scale technology projects within budget and timelines.
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry regulations.
- Provide advanced technical support to resolve critical issues efficiently.
- Design and implement training programs to improve staff utilization of technology systems.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to maintain a competitive edge in restaurant technology.
Requirements
- Must live in or be willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC, and be within a 50-mile radius. This role requires full on-site work five days a week. Relocation assistance may be available.
- 7-10 years of technology leadership or management experience within the restaurant industry.
- Proficiency with NCR Aloha POS, Olo, Hot Schedules, and Opentable (at least one)
- Demonstrated success leading high-performing technology teams.
- Strong experience managing complex technology projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with additional systems such as Elo, FreedomPay, Paytronix, Data Central, and RingCentral.
- Experience with strategic planning and budgeting for IT departments.
- Knowledge of emerging restaurant technologies and trends.
