This position is only available at the Silver Gull Beach Club.
The anticipated first day of work will be in May 2025 and the last day is estimated to be in September 2025.
Aquatics Supervisor
Summary: The Aquatics Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating programs, trainings, services and staff in accordance with company policies. Lead and direct all aquatics staff to ensure safe practices are always followed.

Aquatics Supervisor
Summary: The Aquatics Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating programs, trainings, services and staff in accordance with company policies. Lead and direct all aquatics staff to ensure safe practices are always followed.
Responsibilities
- Recognize and respond quickly and efficiently in emergencies. Enforce all aquatic facility rules, regulations, and policies
- Monitor the pools chemical balances to ensure it is maintained at proper PH and chlorine levels
- Manage all lifeguard lieutenants and lifeguards and create schedules for all staff
- Maintain fitness level regarding swimming skills, strength, and endurance of self and staff
- Make recommendations on needed equipment and supplies to management and prepare purchase requests as necessary
- Maintain all pool chemical logs as required
- Train and promote safe work practices according to company and industry standards
- Polite, knowledgeable, and timely customer service when responding to visitor inquiries.
Requirements
- Must be a certified pool operator, or have the equivalent in experience and skills
- CPR / AED / First Aid Certification required (child & adult)
- Lifeguarding / Lifesaving Certification required
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership skills: ability to delegate appropriate responsibilities
- Must be able to work independently or with little or no supervision
- Must be able to work a variety of days, nights, weekends, and holiday shifts
- Must be able to push – pull, lift – carry up to 50 lbs.
Education & Experience
Education: Bachelors Degree preferred
Experience: Minimum 2 years aquatics supervisory experience
Resort/National Park Concession preferred
Hourly rate of pay $22.00 - $24.00 / hour based upon experience
