What are the responsibilities and job description for the ServiceDesk Technician position at MindGeek Careers?
We are a seeking a motivated Service Desk technician to help support our organizations internal clients and employees.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide client support and technical issue resolution via e-mail, phone, and other electronic medium
- Configure equipment in order to connect to Internet application servers
- Maintain MAC workstations and help in supporting Windows 10 workstations
- Deploy new workstations and install all software. Troubleshoot software and hardware issues
- Obtain general understanding of OS and application operations related to company offered services
- Provide help-desk support to end-users (local and remote) Level, I & II
- Additional duties include, but aren't limited to: installing, patching, maintaining software, email, etc.
What you'll need to be successful:
Must Haves:
- A minimum of 1 year in a similar role
- Maintain LINUX and MAC workstations and help in supporting Windows 10 workstations
- Understanding of LAN/WAN Networking technologies (wireless, IP, IPX, NetBios, DNS, DHCP, WINS) and components (Firewall, Routers & Switches)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
