Position Description: NutraStar is seeking an Accounts Payable /Receivable Clerk. We are looking for a skilled Clerk to provide financial, administrative, and clerical services.
Responsibilities:
Ensure invoices are recorded properly for timely payments and are properly approved
Resolve discrepancies of invoices vs purchase orders and vendor statements
Prepares, posts, and verifies, vendor payments and transactions related to accounts payable
Responding to all queries regarding vendor issues and payment updates
Processing due invoices for payments
Run reports and provide information as requested
Credit card processing and reconciliation, expense report processing, and processing invoices for internal purchases
Assist with monthly close process including reconciling, external audit documentation and other special projects as needed
Maintains and updates vendor files, including name or address changes, mergers, W-9s, COIs and payment information.
Adheres to accounts receivable policies and procedures and ensures external and internal controls and policies are adhered
Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors via phone or email

Processing the daily mail and scanning
What You Bring:
Experience in AP/AR preferred
High level of accuracy, efficiency and productivity
Ability to work in a high-paced environment and transition quickly as priorities change
Training or experience in computer applications ERP experience preferred
Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
Proficiency in MS Excel
Customer service orientation
Team player with a positive attitude
Communication skills to effectively work and resolve issues with various departments in the organization (sales, manufacturing, shipping, and receiving)
