P&R Specialty, Inc., a leading manufacturer of Plastic Spools, Fiber Spools and Plywood Reels
serving the wire and cable industry for 40 years, is seeking a 3rd Shift Plastics Technician to
join their growing injection molding team. The Plastics Technician is responsible for verifying
and ensuring products meet quality standards, ensuring processes are optimized to achieve
process efficiency, and performs general maintenance on equipment while following safe work
practices.
Key performance objectives in order of priority are:
- Responsible for verifying and ensuring that all products meet established quality
standards and specifications to reduce scrap while maintaining process efficiency.
- Responsible for verifying and ensuring all processes are optimized to achieve
process efficiency and reduction of scrap.
- Performs monthly inspections and general maintenance on equipment while following
established safe work practices to achieve quality and efficiency targets.
Qualified candidates will have their High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 3-5 years
of injection molding processing experience. Excellent problem solving and decision making
skills are a must! In this position, a candidate with a positive attitude and excellent attendance
record will succeed.
Compensation will be structured around the individual and their capability. Benefit package
includes health insurance, vacation and holiday pay, 401(k).
