Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an IT Technician at Padua Academy in Wilmington, DE. Responsibilities include:
• Gathering complete information relating to technical support requests.
• Providing technical support in person or remotely.
• Responding to technical support requests via email or phone.
• Maintaining consistent communication with repair facilities
• Submitting laptop repair claims.
• Minor cabling
• Ensuring safe transportation of technology equipment.
• Basic Printer/Copier maintenance
• Software Installation/Removal on user devices.
• Resolving Level I technical issues until completion.
• Troubleshooting Apple configurations, browser, A/V, Software and printing issues.
• Imaging/Reimage Apple MacBook and iMacs.
• Successfully migrate user data.
• Provide Level I support with Blackbaud LMS.
• Maintain accurate and current technology equipment inventory.
• Other duties as determined.
Qualifications
• High School Diplo
ma or GED• Excellent documentation ability to maintain accurate records.
• Fundamental knowledge of basic computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Knowledge and experience with troubleshooting Apple devices
• Experience with creating and managing support tickets
• Experience with troubleshooting basic network issues
• Previous experience in an IT Support position or other related role
• Excellent communication skills
