Financial Secretary shall….
- Perform the duties as outlined in the Financial Policies of PUMC including but not limited: o Financial record keeping (including the back-up and safekeeping) related to Counters, Weekly Contributions, Non-Monetary Gifts, Pledges, Envelopes and both General and Designated Funds o Preparation of regular weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as well as special reports as may be requested from time to time.
o Provide analysis of history and trends to assist church leadership in planning decisions.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the Financial Policies of PUMC as a reference for other ministry staff and lay leadership.
- Reconcile church accounting software with bank records as outlined in the Financial Policies and Procedures Consistent with Financial Policies and Procedures and in coordination with the Church Treasurer, facilitate:
o collection processes including cash, check and electronic payment methods in coordination with counters and bonded representatives of the congregation o disbursement processes including, payroll and expense reimbursement, preparation of checks for signature by Church Treasurer and electronic payments all in accordance with PUMC Financial Policies
- Perform other responsibilities from time to time as requested by the Senior Pastor, Finance and/or SPRC Chair

Pay: $20.00 per hour
