Poynter Landscape Architecture and Construction is searching for a quality, hard-working senior bookkeeper to add to our accounting department. Poynter Landscape Architecture and Construction has been a top tier design/build and maintenance firm in the St. Louis metropolitan area for over 30 years!

Positions are full-time. Responsibilities:

Financial

• Payroll
• Banking
• A/R and A/P
• Credit card reconciliation
• Regular internal accounting reports
• Job Costing
• Insurance policy management for General liability and Workers Comp.
• HR, Benefits administration
• QuickBooks proficiency
• Advanced Excel skills
• Tax Filing: File timely and accurately all reports and documents related to taxes, Insurance, Payroll, Fed 940, 941 and state 940, Mo use tax, back reconciliation, personal property tax
• Compile and produce financial reports regularly for leadership, including cash position, budget performance and analysis, sales and margins.
  
  

Office management / Customer Service

• Phones, always answer with a smile!
• Lead intake and Sales Appointments
• CRM management
• Greeting clients when they are present at the design center, offer refreshments etc.
• Manage office supplies, predict needs and work with purchasing to maintain stock
• Manage calendars
• Staff reviews
• Event planning
• Assisting ownership

Requirements:

• 5 years experience using QuickBooks Desktop or Enterprise
• In-House payroll processing
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Bright, Resourceful problem solver
• Naturally organized
• Efficient
• Computer and Tech skills

• Great attention to detail

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
