Compensation: $30 - $35 per hour

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior AutoCAD 3D Designer to join our team in the HVAC and piping industry. In this role, you will be responsible for converting 2D designs into accurate 3D models while collaborating with engineers and project teams to ensure precision and adherence to project requirements.

The client is looking for 2-4 years experience and with individuals with hands-on AutoCAD 3D Deign experience and who are eager to grow in the field.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D experience required).
• ***MUST have 2-4 years hands on experience with 3D CAD design of HVAC systems with component selection and piping design.
• 3D AutoCAD required - As part of the interview process, there will be an AUTO CAD 3D Design test that the client will conduct
• Engineering degree a plus
• Structural design experience a plus
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and piping layouts is a plus.
• No formal degree required; however, a certificate or coursework in CAD drafting/design is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Convert 2D drawings into 3D models using AutoCAD software.
• Create and modify 3D designs for HVAC and piping systems based on specifications and project requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other designers to identify potential design issues and implement solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and version control of all design files.
• Review and troubleshoot designs for accuracy and functionality.
• Assist in preparing design layouts, detailed drawings, and material specifications as needed.
