Q Center is looking for a System Administrator to join our team!
 
Job Summary
The System Administrator role will identify / evaluate IT application risks and vulnerabilities by developing strategies to mitigate them.  Which will include working with IT staff to establish security, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans to minimize the impact of any IT application disruptions.  This will also include the set-up, software/hardware management, troubleshooting, and implementation strategies to mitigate cyber-security risks with our corporate architecture.
 
This position is on site, with a varying schedule that may include evenings and weekends.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, MIS, or related field.
  • Advanced understanding of the Microsoft Technology Stack: Exchange/email, M365, Active Directory/Entra, VMWare (vSphere), Intune, Teams, SharePoint, Defender, and Group Policy management.
  • Knowledge of operating systems, enterprise backup / recovery procedures, and system performance-monitoring tools.
Physical Requirements
  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
  • Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Fundamental Requirements
  • Associates must, at all times, be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests and fellow associates.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship and promote open lines of communication with managers, associates, and other departments.
  • Maximize financial performance while upholding quality standards and maximizing levels of associate and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain Q Center Standard Operating Procedures regarding Purchase Orders in Birchstreet.
  • Define and implement department objectives and standard operating procedures.
  • Keep immediate supervisor fully informed of all problems or matters requiring their attention.
  • Respond to all associate and guest requests, problems, complaints and/or accidents presented through various channels, in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner; follow up to ensure guest and associate satisfaction.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
  • Provide operational and troubleshooting support for the Microsoft Technology Stack: M365, Active Directory, and Group Policy management.
  • Ability to perform upgrades, patching, installations, and configuration changes corporate equipment.
  • Perform certificate management within the technical landscape with IT stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and resolve hardware/software-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Administering maintenance of current systems and transitioning to new solutions/tools including both hardware/software upgrade
  • Manage computer inventory, builds, and installation/patching assignments.
  • Proactively install/configure servers and workstations keeping documentation and policies up to date / active.
  • Create and manage system permissions and user accounts.
  • Perform regular security tests and security monitoring.
  • Maintain hardware, network file shares, and application software systems.
  • Analyze system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.
