What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Operations position at SJ Hauck Construction, LLC?
The ideal candidate is a highly analytical leader who will join our senior management team. You will be responsible for leading the company's day-to-day business operations (managing the company budget, ensuring operational compliance is followed, and addressing administrative issues). The primary focus is within our field and project management operations.
SJ Hauck Construction is a leading company in house lifting and foundations. In addition, we perform demolition, deep foundations (timber piling, helical piling, steel driven piles and support of excavation), concrete and masonry. On average we have 40 projects on our backlog and 40 in construction. Our preconstruction manager handles the project backlog and assigns them to Project managers once they are ready to start. this team reports to the Director of Operations. We have between 12-15 crews that perform the work. this is broken down into 4 divisions which each have lead formans who report to the Director of Operations. The weekly manpower schedules are finalized by the Director of Operations based off input from Project Managers and crew demand/availability.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related discipline 5 -10 years of relevant experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in project management
- Experience working with a trade contractor managing crews/field personnel
