St. Joseph Catholic School, Monroeville, is seeking a School Secretary for the 24-25 school year. At St. Joseph, we strive to create, with parents, a community of faith where students acquire life long skills and values in a distinctive Christian educational environment. We’re looking for a new dynamic family member who will excite our school community.
Applicants should have:
- Organize, coordinate and schedule a variety of office activities to assist the Administration with tasks, prepare and accurately maintain a variety of reports, records, and files relating to students, operations, and activities.
- Compose routine correspondence independently; prepare, type, and distribute communications as requested and open and distribute mail accordingly.
- Provide information concerning school policies, procedures, actions, activities, and schedules as appropriate; and maintain the school calendar.
- Work confidentially with discretion.
- Perform a wide variety of clerical and secretarial duties to coordinate school office activities.
- Complete work with many interruptions and work independently
- Maintain a positive attitude and strong public relations with students, parents, staff, and the public.
- Meet schedules and timelines.
- Register, release or transfer student records; complete enrollment information.
- Assist with curriculum, textbooks, and supply ordering.
- Ability to work with other teachers and administrators.
- Ability to build strong rapport with school families.
- Ability to support the mission of a Catholic school.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
