Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Staffing Coordinator to support our Staffing Coordinator and ensure smooth and efficient staffing operations. The Assistant Staffing Coordinator will play a key role in managing schedules, assisting with recruitment efforts, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Staffing Coordinator in overseeing and managing the staffing needs of multiple clients.
- Support the recruitment process by screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate assessments.
- Help maintain and update staffing schedules, ensuring all shifts are covered and any changes are communicated effectively.
- Liaise with clients to confirm staffing requirements and provide updates on staffing progress.
- Communicate with candidates to confirm availability, job details, and start dates.
- Assist in resolving any staffing-related issues that arise, including coordinating last-minute shift changes.
- Help maintain accurate records of staffing activities, including candidate placements and client interactions.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, report generation, and maintaining staffing software.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates for open positions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws during the staffing process.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a staffing or recruitment role is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take direction from the Staffing Coordinator.
