Wage: Salary range determined by Mill Manager depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience. Varies depending on skill level. 

Position Purpose: Maximize mill efficiency via preventative maintenance, repair/modification of machinery, and installation of new machinery. Works closely with Maintenance Director, lead millwright, electricians, production supervisors, machine operators, and cleanup. 

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, repair, modify, align machinery, and troubleshoot equipment issues related to mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and gravitational components of machinery, ensuring that it's properly repaired
• Install new machinery, and order appropriate replacement parts for machinery
• Operate forklift, manlift, hoist, crane, key cutters, drills, presses
• Weld and fabricate using arc and wire feed welders, cutting torch and track burners
• Read and follow blue prints and other specification SOP documents
• Prioritize safety guidelines for all decision making
• Special projects as assigned
