What We Want

The Temporary Research Assistant will carry out research related to the NPRP project and supporting the students in doing experimental research which includes simulation of electrical assets and data analysis, in addition to mentoring the students.

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience.

Required Education

• Appropriate Bachelor's or equivalent combination of education and experience
  
  
  

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Knowledge of laboratory maintenance and equipment
• Knowledge of computers and computer software related to the position
• Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
  
  
  

Essential Duties/Tasks

• Conduct experimental verification of the project and tasks to be completed related to the project
• Perform research work/activities on simulation of electrical assets
• Conduct data analysis in the project related to the subject area
• Preparation of required technical progress reports to research sponsors and other duties as assigned
• Prepare conference and journal papers and actively participate in preparation of required technical progress reports to research sponsors
• Mentor and train and supervision of students in the project
