What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Coordinator position at Texas Nurses Association?
The Texas Nurses Association is seeking an Operations Coordinator to assist the COO with operations and human resources efforts to ensure the association has the resources needed to achieve its goals. The coordinator will assist with employee engagement efforts, benefit plan administration, payroll, and recruitment, as well as provide support with office and property management. In addition, the Coordinator will maintain confidential files and databases, assist with processing payables and receivables, and assist with answering general phone lines and greeting guests. The coordinator will also provide administrative support as needed with filing, composing and sending correspondence and scheduling meetings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s preferred
- Three years clerical experience, experience with Human Resources preferred
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with HRIS or similar database systems preferred
- Ability to communicate courteously and professionally in writing and verbally
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information
- Ability to be self-motivated and work independently
- Ability to work under time constraints and strict deadlines
