Job Summary
Hands on mass production of from scratch cookie dough with state of the art equipment.
Duties
- Coordinate daily production of 16 flavors of cookie dough for multiple end-users.
- Build and maintain par levels set by time honored experience of this successful food company.
- Supervise a team of 6 or more. "Inspect what you Expect" to meet company standards of each batch of cookie dough.
- Monitor and inspect the team in meeting different packaging standards for multiple end-users.
- Keep up to date inventory.
- Daily product ordering according to forecasted sales.
- Hold others accountable in a professional manner.
Skills
- 5 year MINIMUM experience in Inventory and Ordering.
- Attention to Detail is paramount for this position.
- Works efficiently and with a sense of urgency and monitors that the team does the same.
- Excellent communication skills as a team leader.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges promptly.
- 3 year MINIMUM experience in "from scratch" dough knowledge in one of the following areas: breads, cookie dough, cakes/pies or professional high volume bakery.
- Experience in using bakery machinery such as Hobart, Blodgett, or professional depositors/extruders.
- Independent thinker
- Multi-tasker
- Ability to work well with supervisor and follow guidance on best operational systems for this department .
- Ability to lift 50 - 60 pounds.
- Knowledge and execution of safety standards for the department and each team member.
- Execution of health standards for all food production.
- Computer knowledge. We will teach you our in-house systems.
- Ability to follow exact recipes and teach/monitor your team daily to do the same.
There is room for advancement with proven track record of meeting company standards.
No early (before 6AM) or late shifts.

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
