What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office of Equity and Engagement Intern position at Town of Andover?
The Office of Equity & Engagement seeks an intern to serve as the communications lead for the Commission on DEI and the office of Equity & Engagement.
The successful candidate will ensure for the consistent presence of the work of the office and the Commission across all social media platforms and, in conjunction with the Director of Equity & Engagement, the associated website.
Duties will include production of of a monthly e newsletter, regular posts about the office and Commission events, activities and initiatives, networking with community groups to ensure wide audience reach, design and publication of event flyers, postcards and registration links, and active involvement in continuing to grow our subscriber mailing list.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience managing social media communications, have knowledge of and passion for the importance of equity, inclusion and access, and a solid working knowledge of desktop publishing.
Salary : $250
