As a Parts Sales Specialist for Vermeer Caribbean , LLC, you will play a crucial role in serving our customers by providing them with the necessary parts and components for their equipment. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers in identifying and purchasing the right parts, ensuring their satisfaction, and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of our business.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Parts Sales: Actively promote and sell parts and accessories, explaining features, benefits, and any ongoing promotions. Utilize upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of our product catalog, including technical specifications, compatibility, and pricing. Stay updated with new product arrivals and relevant promotions.
- Customer Interaction: Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner. Listen attentively to their needs and inquiries, offering expert advice on selecting suitable parts and components. Proactively follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with their purchases. Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally to achieve resolution.
- Order Processing: Efficiently process customer orders, ensuring accuracy in part numbers, pricing, and availability. Coordinate prompt delivery or in-store pickup of orders, keeping customers informed of the status.
- Inventory Management: Ensure that parts are accurately received, stored, and organized in the warehouse. Validate quantities and prices on invoices and manage the stock levels to prevent shortages.
- Sales Reporting: Generate sales reports, track key performance indicators, and analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues, including other sales staff, technicians, and management, to deliver a cohesive and exceptional customer experience. Work with the technical team to address complex technical queries and provide expert advice.
- Quoting: Prepare and provide accurate quotes for special orders or large volume purchases.
- Returns Handling: Ensure the quality of products being sold and handle returns efficiently, following company policies and procedures.
- Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of sales transactions, including customer details and order history. Ensure all documentation is organized and readily accessible.
- Training and Development: Stay updated with new product releases and undergo regular training to enhance product knowledge.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Bachelor's degree or GA in business administration or related field.
. Knowledge in automotive mechanics desirable.
· Proven experience in sales, preferably on industrial parts.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to learn about new products quickly.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
