Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor/Maintenance worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Handle commercial cleaning duties to ensure a clean and orderly environment
- Assist with residential, commercial projects as needed
- Conduct floor care maintenance including buffing and waxing, repairs
- Undertake industrial cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and sanitary workspace
- Perform porter and custodial duties to support overall facility upkeep
- Perform other job duties as assigned by management
Experience
- Prior experience in facilities maintenance and commercial cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of basic hand tools
- Familiarity with floor care procedures including buffing and waxing
- Ability to maintain cleanliness
- Experience in porter or custodial roles is beneficial
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
Work Location: In person
Salary : $17 - $18
