What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Coordinator II - PA position at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital?
Provides support to the Admissions Director including any needed support to the Admissions/registration areas at the hospital , The Thomas P Saxton Medical Pavilion, all outpatient satellites, scheduling and any other hospital department as needed. Minimum of 3-5 years healthcare Patient Access Experience and/or Quality and Insurance experience preferred. Computer literacy is required (PC operation, understanding of computer processes including high level excel skills, Microsoft word, Powerpoint and Google). Medical terminology, command of English language, knowledge of insurances helpful.
Clerical accuracy, excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to integrate and facilitate ideas/programs; ability to change; problem solving skills and organizations skills required.
