Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) – a company working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for a Senior Financial Controller to join our Global Finance team in our office in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The team
You will be a part of a team consisting of 12 skilled financial professionals and will support our financial strategy to align with CISC’s ambitious long-term goals. You will engage with senior stakeholders to provide crucial financial insights across our regions.
The role
Referring to the VP of Global Controlling and Financial Reporting, you will become part of a growing and dynamic team where you will drive and develop our finance setup for CISC. In doing so, you will be responsible for establishing and delivering best-in-class finance processes for CISC. Processes, which will also be rolled out to our global CISC teams in EMEA, Americas, and APAC, to ensure standardized financial management throughout our organization. Your role within CISC will consist of, but not be limited to:
Key responsibilities will consist of:
- Month-end closing in accordance with the agreed closing procedures and deadlines
- Monthly controlling of accounts including cost controlling, balance sheet controlling, IC etc.
- Building, implementing, and maintaining costs controlling models across CISC entities globally
- Develop, implement, and facilitate initiatives to improve accounting processes and procedures
- Report on the liquidity position
- Oversight and controlling of service provider activities and point of contact for local service providers responsible for finance and corporate matters
- Preparation of external annual report and coordination of audit with external auditor and review of external annual reports and tax reporting.

You
You have a MSc in Economics or Finance and come with
3-5 years of full-time experience in financial controlling, audit, or consultancy and have seen both in-house and the client side. You have moreover experience in operational finance, navigating ERP systems and motivated by building best practices, solving complex issues, and developing the finance function.
