About the Role
Your mission: Enable our FM and Quant Trading teams to focus entirely on sophisticated modelling and meteorology solutions by ensuring platform infrastructure and operations run seamlessly in the background.
You’ll help maintain and expand our hybrid infrastructure using Azure Cloud and on-premise high-performance computing (HPC) resources, ensuring the right balance of performance, agility, reliability and cost for each use case.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage the ML platform for large-scale data and complex ML models.
Implement MLOps best practices to streamline development and deployment.
Optimize the platform’s performance and efficiency across Azure Cloud and on-premise HPC.
Ensure smooth transition of ML and Big Data applications from development to production.
Proactively solve infrastructure issues and improve platform reliability.
Partner with data scientists and engineers to enable successful deployment and monitoring.
Drive platform improvements to meet business and technical needs.

Experience building and maintaining ML platforms in data-intensive environments.
Strong experience with Azure Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Expertise in GPU-based ML training and high-memory computing.
Experience with HPC infrastructure and cloud integration.
Ability to assess and recommend the best infrastructure solutions.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience with time-series or geospatial data is a plus.
