At Norlys Energy Trading A/S, we are looking for a Workforce Operations Manager to join our Humans & Resources team in Aalborg, Denmark. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of HR processes, drive continuous improvements, and lead a team of skilled professionals. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring transparency, compliance, and efficiency across our HR operations.
About Us
Norlys Energy Trading A/S is a dynamic and fast-growing energy trading company, where professionalism and collaboration drive our success. Our Humans & Resources team consists of two teams: Development and Workforce Operations. You will lead the Workforce Operations team and report to our Director of Business Excellence and HR.
Key Responsibilities

People Leadership: Lead and develop a team of 4-5 HR specialists and generalists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

HR Processes & Policies: Maintain and enhance HR processes, ensuring transparency, professionalism, and fairness.

Contracts & Compliance: Oversee employment documents across Denmark and internationally, ensuring legal compliance.

Payroll Management: Lead payroll and benefits administration, working with our outsourced payroll provider.

Recruitment & Onboarding: Ensure professional and efficient recruitment and onboarding processes.

HR Systems & Reporting: Manage our HR system (HiBob), ensuring accurate reporting and analytics.
Job Requirements

Proven experience leading a small HR team with strong collaboration skills.

Background in HR operations within a fast-growing, medium-sized, or large company.

Ability to balance professionalism and standardization with flexibility and pragmatism.

Structured and detail-oriented approach with strong analytical skills.

Experience working in a high-performance work environment.

Fluent in English and Danish, both verbal and written.
Desirable Qualifications

Experience in global mobility.

Knowledge of GDPR compliance.

Familiarity with HiBob HR system.

Industry experience in energy trading or a related field.
