We have a new exciting opportunity as Head of Hydrometallurgy, where you will be leading a team driving innovation in sustainable processes.
We are partnered with an exciting startup, who are seeking a leader with 10 years of experience in team/lab management, and expertise in hydrometallurgy or inorganic chemistry.
Key highlights of the role:
You will oversee various wet-chemical processes within our hydrometallurgy division.
Take full responsibility for both the technical direction and people leadership of a team of specialists, driving their ongoing development and growth.
Coordinate technical and organizational initiatives to ensure smooth operation of hydrometallurgical processes.
Manage risks and resolve challenges effectively during the commissioning of complex projects in your area of responsibility.
Lead, inspire, and motivate your team to meet ambitious goals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop integrated, sustainable solutions for advanced recycling processes.
Drive the implementation of new processes and technologies aimed at optimizing the recycling and processing of battery materials.
Always maintain a focus on economic efficiency and actively contribute to achieving our company’s mission.
Your Profile:
You bring at least 10 years of professional experience, including substantial leadership in laboratory management or coordination of larger technical teams.
You hold a degree in chemistry, process engineering, or chemical engineering — a doctorate is a strong plus.
You have deep expertise in inorganic chemistry and/or hydrometallurgy.
Experience in recycling or processing technologies for battery materials is highly desirable.
You are an excellent communicator and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Your leadership style is collaborative, and you know how to inspire and successfully guide teams through complex projects.
You are driven by the ambition to further develop and expand our hydrometallurgy capabilities.
Flexibility and adaptability are part of your DNA, making you well-suited to our agile, scale-up environment.
You have excellent command of both German and English, written and spoken.
