We are partnered exclusively with a growing Industrial Private Equity backedbusiness who is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their team. This is a unique opportunity as you will drive financial performance and strategic decision-making in a fast pace environment. This is a high impact role where you will be working with senior stakeholders to deliver insights that shape the company’s growth trajectory and also take the business through a successful exit.
You will be serving as a bridge between finance and production while ensuring that production activities are financial viable and cost effective. You will also be leading the global production team across their international sites while reporting to the Head of FP&A.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and develop a team of Production Business Partners globally – ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational excellence.
Oversee production cost tracking and analysis including raw materials, labor and overheads, to ensure financial discipline and budget adherence.
Establish and implement standardized production controlling framework across all global production sites, enhancing cross site comparability and process optimization.
Deliver in-depth cost analysis and financial insights to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for cost reduction to enhance profitability.
Monitor and analyze variances between actual and budgeted production costs, providing clear explanations and recommending corrective actions where necessary.
Collaborate with production teams to develop robust data-driven budgets and forecasts that support strategic planning and operational decision-making.
Develop and present financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases providing data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
Act as a strategic partner to commercial and operational teams ensuring financial considerations are embedded in decision-making processes.
Liaise with private equity investors and senior stakeholders ensuring high standards of financial transparency, reporting accuracy, and compliance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives identifying opportunities for margin enhancement, process optimization, and cost control within a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Your Profile :
Proven 7 experience in a leadership or cross functional role within finance business partner/controlling/FP&A role, ideally within the industrial or production industry.
Holding minimum a bachelor’s degree within Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or any related field. Advanced degrees like MBA would be a plus.
Certification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing or Project Management Professional (PMP)
Strong numeracy, IT, and analytical skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities
Willing to travel
Fluent in German and English
