Purpose of Role / Summary:

The purpose of this role is to lead and manage the Network & Security team, ensuring the secure design, operation, and compliance of network infrastructure across multiple locations. The role focuses on driving the network and security roadmap, implementing advanced security solutions, overseeing vulnerability management, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. It also involves collaborating with various teams to secure cloud-native applications and infrastructure, while maintaining a strong focus on risk management, business continuity, and incident response.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

• Build and lead the Network & Security team (6 FTEs)
• Define and execute the network and security roadmap aligned with INGOT’s risk posture and business goals
• Act as the primary point of contact for infrastructure security, network design, and related regulatory requirements (e.g., CySEC)
• Oversee the secure design and operation of all office networks (Cyprus, Dubai, Jordan, Kenya)
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure high availability of internet and internal services
• 
  Drive network segmentation initiatives and enforce secure access controls
• Lead implementation of SASE solutions, IDS/IPS, and endpoint integrations
• Oversee internal vulnerability assessments, threat hunting, and pentesting cycles
• Develop and maintain security incident response procedures
• Ensure compliance with CySEC, GDPR, and DORA regulations
• Partner with the Compliance & Risk Officer to perform regular security audits
• Maintain documentation for DR/BCP, risk assessments, and policy enforcement
• Work closely with the Infrastructure and IT Support teams to align technical efforts.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to secure cloud-native applications (Kubernetes, Serverless, etc.)
• Any other duties relevant to the role

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5 years of experience in network engineering and/or cybersecurity

3 years in a leadership or managerial role

Strong expertise in firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto), SASE, IDS/IPS, and secure office connectivity

Proven experience securing cloud environments (AWS, Kubernetes, Serverless)

In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks: CySEC, GDPR, ISO 27001, DORA

Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, CEH, or CISM are highly preferred

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and crisis leadership skills

Nice to Have:

Experience deploying Zero Trust architecture

Familiarity with GitOps tools like ArgoCD

Prior experience in FinTech or regulated industries

• Working hours are 08:30 – 17:30 flexible - Monday to Friday
• The role is in Limassol, Cyprus
