What you’ll do

• Develop, implement, and maintain AML policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Monitor transactions for suspicious activity, and report to the relevant authorities as needed.

• Conduct organization-wide risk assessments to identify AML-related risks and offer expert advice.

• Collaborate with the Fraud team to ensure the processes align with company policies and industry best practices.

• Review and investigate escalated fraud cases, identifying patterns and recommending preventative strategies.

• Perform regular audits on fraud prevention processes, providing actionable feedback for improvement.

• Lead complex investigations into potential money laundering or fraud cases.

• Prepare thorough reports on investigations, including risk assessments and recommended actions.

• Present regular updates to senior management on AML and fraud trends, risks, and the efficacy of current measures.

What you need to have

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• CySEC AML Certificate required.

• At least 2 years of experience in AML compliance, with 1 year in fraud investigation or analysis within financial services or a related sector.

• Proven experience in fraud investigation, pattern recognition, and implementing preventative measures.

• Strong knowledge of AML regulations and best practices.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to thrive both independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
