Mechanical Fitter Technician for Reykjavik Iceland

WE require several fully qualified maintenance mechanics technicians for our engineering client based in Reykjavik

Due to visa restrictions Only EU citizens may apply , NO EXCEPTIONS

all applicants must speak English and must have a minimum of 5 years experience

Salary before tax, 4800isk per hour or 32 euro at todays exchange rate

pay is monthly, all pay is in Icelandic Krona, all Euro quotes are at todays exchange rate and are used as a guide to the current exchange rates market

overtime is x1.65% of hourly rate

40 hours per week paid but work 37

No rotation,

Duties include

maintenance of factory and plant, machinery, belts and so on

proper maintenance of machinery

conveyor belts

motors

pipe work, electrical and other duties involved with the upkeep of the factory and plants

work will involve travel to for example Smelting plants and other companies

Housing provided at 75000kr (about 500 euro per month (taken out of salary)

10% holiday pay added to salary
