Our Client has been established 50 years , capable of providing total solutions to many industries – analysis, conceptualization, engineering & design, fabrication and installation with the mechanical service still as a cornerstone. The company is division based as we do provide near all services in our sectors, such as:

Full welding of steel assemblies, MIG/MAG 95% so extensive experience and knowledge of MIG welding is mandatory.

We work mostly with black/carbon steel, but do various projects on stainless, aluminium and other materials.

We are looking for several welders to join our company in our locations around Iceland

Just to be clear this position is in Iceland and not on the road in Ireland,

really do not have a drop down for Iceland

We are looking for those with a long term view and wishes to relocate to Iceland

Iceland has a great many assets to be enjoyed and is enjoying massive growth,

We need someone who can work completely independent

All Salary is paid in ISK and is based on experience and numbers quoted are before tax and in Icelandic Krona, rates in Euro are at todays exchange rate and are not a guarantee of future euro exchanges due to market exchange rates

Starting salary is from 640.000isk (Euro 4266) for 160 hours per month,

Overtime is based times day hourly rate x 1.60 6500ISK in euro 6600kr or 44 euro

All salary has 10% holiday added to salary

plus pension is added to salary

Persons must be able to communicate in English but not perfect

Working hours are as follows for each part of the country

Reyðarfjörður in the east of Iceland, Working hours are 8-17:00, overtime according to project status but normally plenty in the east

Hafnarfjörður capital area Working hours are 8-16:00, overtime according to project status

All housing is provided at costs below which is deducted from Salaries, single rooms

Reyðarfjörður housing is from 75000kr to 90000kr around Euro 500 to 600 per month , each room has a private shower

Hafnarfjörður housing is priced at 110.000kr. or 730 euro - ISK everything inclusive. Great housing

Flights are reimbursed after 3 months of continues work,

domestic flights are paid for by client,

Capital area and Reyðarfjöður

car provided for 3 months to help you get on your feet,

great lunches are provided in works canteen at 1100isk or 7sih euro
