We have been recruiting pharmacists for the last years and they love it here in Iceland

We have an urgent need to fill this role as we need to train and replace the person who has been working night shift for the last 2,5 years

Salary stated is for a basic 173 hours per month of normal day time work once you have been licensed to work operate as a pharmacist in Iceland which usually takes one month, until then while your here in Iceland you will be recognised as an assistant pharmacist

This is a full-time on-site role for a Qualified Pharmacist in Reykjavik, Iceland.

Applicants must be a Citizen of the Euro zone countries

This position is for a pharmacist to work night shift so the salary is considerably more

up to 8000 euro at todays exchange rate before tax

As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing expert advice on the safe and effective use of medications, and offering health and wellness counselling to patients. You will also collaborate with healthcare professionals and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Professional masters degree or equivalent in Pharmacy education
• Experience in dispensing medications and providing medication counselling
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Fluency in English
• Knowledge of the Icelandic language is not required for application, but a good command of English is a must. Willingness to learn Icelandic while living in Iceland is a plus.

Housing will be provided free for the first two to three months to anable the candidate to settle in to Iceland

The stated salary is based on 173 basic hours per month, and once you are fully licensed in Iceland, different rates will apply for shift work, overtime, and weekends.

Please note that the salary stated may change due to exchange rates. Overtime rates in Iceland are higher compared to other countries.
