Job Summary:
This role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and working closely cross functionally with the production and sales teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the decorative lighting industry, exceptional customer service and organistional skills, and a passion for delivering innovative lighting solutions to both residential and commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Understand client needs and preferences to offer tailored lighting solutions that align with their design goals and budgets.
- Address and resolve client inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with sales, design and production to ensure alignment between sales goals and product offerings.
- Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and stock availability for customer orders.
Sales Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and implement sales strategies for decorative lighting products across various markets (residential, commercial, retail, etc.).
- Work closely with the sales team to achieve targets and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities presented by the BDM's, including exploring new markets and establishing relationships with potential customers.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, architects, interior designers, contractors, and other stakeholders in the decorative lighting industry.
Product Knowledge & Training:
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the decorative lighting product range, including new product launches, technical specifications, and market positioning.
- Train the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and best practices to improve performance.
- Stay informed on lighting trends, design styles, and technologies to offer cutting-edge solutions to clients.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer demands, and competitor activities in the decorative lighting space.
- Provide insights to senior management on emerging trends, pricing strategies, and new product opportunities.
- Develop competitive pricing strategies and identify new business avenues based on market analysis.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven track record of success in sales, particularly in decorative lighting or related industries (e.g., home furnishings, interior design, architectural products).
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
- Sales Skills: Expertise in consultative selling, solution-based selling, and account management.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Sage200 is preferable (training will be provided).
- Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach with an ability to identify and meet client needs effectively.
- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with an ability to think strategically and act decisively.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From €14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 34 per week
