Purchasing Manager

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement function and help drive strategic sourcing decisions across our growing operations.

The Purchasing Manager will oversee the procurement and supply chain management activities for Ohk Energy. This role will be responsible for sourcing materials, equipment, and services, negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices that align with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies that support operational goals and reduce costs.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers for materials, equipment, and services aligned with project and operational needs.
• Evaluate vendor performance and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineering, and operations teams to forecast demand and plan procurement schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Analyze market trends to identify potential sourcing opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, and supplier documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Prepare and present regular procurement reports and performance metrics to senior management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably in the energy sector.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and vendor contracts effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with sustainable procurement practices.
• Familiarity with international sourcing and logistics.
• Knowledge of energy industry regulations and compliance standards.

Pay: €35,000.00-€55,000.00 per year
