Business Analyst

A 6-month contract position with the option to extend, seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with at least 10 years of experience.

The client is based in Dublin west and will require the consultant onsite 2 days a week.

The following key responsibilities will apply to this role:

• Identify the internal and external stakeholder requirements for high-priority modernization projects.
• Collaborate with the project sponsor to explore commercially available solutions that meet functionality requirements.
• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders at a high-quality standard.
• Facilitate process design changes through complex business and systems process analysis.
• Employ business analysis tools and techniques to engage stakeholders effectively.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations through regular status updates.
• Update documentation and hand over complete business requirements to project sponsors.
• Guide testers during the QA process and assist with user acceptance testing as needed.
• Collaborate with the business on high-priority initiatives and prepare data for legacy system migration.
• Work with third-party vendors and strategic partners to define and deliver effective solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience in requirement gathering, specification creation, and workshop facilitation.
• Knowledge of writing procurement specifications for public sector tenders meeting EU guidelines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Ability to produce technical documentation, including BRDs, RFPs, and user product documentation.
• Experience in writing test scripts and performing user acceptance testing.
