Due to continued growth, we are currently hiring an IT Project Manager to join our client in Cork. emagine is a high-end professional services consultancy and solutions firm specialising in providing business and technology services to clients in all sectors.

You will lead the delivery team and foster a culture of high performance and efficient solution delivery, guiding and coaching teams to implement rapid, high-value, and quality business solutions by embracing Agile ways of working.

A snapshot of your key responsibilities:

• 
  Define project scope and success criteria with stakeholders, allowing for flexibility and iterative refinement throughout the project lifecycle. Continuously validate scope through regular reviews and sprint retrospectives.
• Develop and maintain an adaptive schedule using Agile planning techniques such as sprints and backlogs. Monitor and control progress by regularly updating the schedule to reflect completed and upcoming work.
• Estimate project costs through team input and iterative planning. Regularly review and adjust the project budget to accommodate changes and ensure cost control.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by embedding quality into every stage of the development process. Conduct regular reviews and testing while fostering collective ownership of quality within the team.
• Establish and maintain transparent communication with stakeholders. Ensure alignment and engagement through stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Proactively identify, prioritize, and mitigate risks and issues through continuous risk management and iteration planning.
• Evaluate, manage, and collaborate with vendors using Agile procurement processes. Maintain strong vendor relationships through communication and iterative reviews of Statements of Work and technical specifications.
• Manage stakeholder relationships by identifying, prioritizing, and addressing expectations and needs through continuous engagement and feedback loops.
• Commit to professional growth by staying up-to-date with emerging Agile methodologies, technologies, and best practices. Proactively apply new insights to enhance project outcomes and team performance.

Requirements:

• 
  7 years of experience in successfully leading delivery teams a fast-paced challenging environment.
• PMP or PRINCE2 accreditation is desired, PMP preferred.
• Agile qualification (Agile Certification, SCRUM, SAFe).
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence (or similar) is required.
• Experience with MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required.

• Experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall.
• Experience managing vendor contracts.
• Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
• Previous experience in healthcare, insurance, or regulated sectors is a plus.

Opportunity type: Contract (Initial 6 months), Hybrid in Cork (Little Island)
