We are seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Developer with expertise in MS Power Platform to support the development and enhancement of internal and external applications. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing front-end applications, reporting dashboards, and system integrations to support data-driven decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of modern development practices, iterative product development, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MS Power Platform applications for internal use, ensuring usability and efficiency.
• Design and implement reporting dashboards for internal and external stakeholders to support data-driven insights.
• Build and enhance front-end applications to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
• Support the development of a Data Standard for Dublin City Council (DCC) buildings and land, ensuring consistency and accuracy in data management.
• Integrate SharePoint and Power Platform solutions with relevant internal and external systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and automation.

Required Skills & Experience

• Front-End Development: Proven experience in iterative development of front-end applications, including solutions built using MS Power Platform.
• Dashboard Development: Demonstrable expertise in developing reporting dashboards, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and user-friendly design.
• Team Collaboration: Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with product managers, analysts, and stakeholders.
• Product Management Knowledge: Strong understanding of contemporary product management methodologies and iterative development approaches.
• Training & Mentoring: Ability to provide on-the-job training, mentoring, and staff development, either formally or informally.
• Public Sector Experience (Desirable): Experience working within public sector organisations or large enterprises alongside subject matter experts.
• Civic Tech & Public Sector Development (Desirable): Familiarity with contemporary Public Sector development approaches, such as UK Government Digital Service (GDS) methodologies.
• Property & GIS Experience (Desirable): Experience working with property datasets and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced agile environment.
