Position Summary: The Account Executive will aim to bring new customers into the 10 Roads network through a combination of warm leads and cold calling. The person in this role will need to understand both the trucking industry and internal operations to bring in new revenue that matches needs for both 10 Roads and that customer. This is a new, untapped area to build sales relationships not yet established without internal competition.


Location: This position is onsite in Homewood, IL. Candidates who demonstrate an aptitude for the position will be allowed to work in a hybrid capacity (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Navigates professional discussions with potential customers and demonstrates extensive knowledge of our internal operations.
  • Conducts high-volume inside and outside sales calls to produce new relationships with customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand customer base
  • Serves as the primary liaison with both external and internal customers.
  • Develops and strengthens relationships with potential and existing customers to promote a positive customer relationship.


Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 year of outside and inside Trucking/Logistics Fleet Sales experience.
  • Knowledge of transportation/logistics industry.
  • Ability to handle high-level sales negotiations.
  • Proven experience in establishing new relationships with outside clients and creating long-term partnerships.
  • Motivation to drive the company and this position forward.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a large trucking/logistics firm.
  • Business Development background.
  • 3-5 Years of high level, B2B sales.
  • Established book of Business.
