Responsibilities encompass a range of tasks, including but not limited to:
· Attending to activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
· Conducting light housekeeping
· Preparing meals
· Providing reminders for medications
· Running errands
· Supporting daily outings (field trips, gym, etc.) to ensure our loved one stays physically active.
· Implementing clinical, educational, and vocational programs
· Recording and observing data for programs outlined in individual and behavior support plans.
· Collaborating with team members to establish a therapeutic environment, fostering regular community involvement.
· Working cooperatively with loved one and family, sharing any observations or changes in condition with the case manager.
Qualifications
· Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, bachelor’s degree preferred (high school seniors 18 or older also considered)
· Demonstrating the ability to treat and care for our loved one with dignity and respect.
· Occasional weekend availability
· Friends and congenial communication with our loved one and his family, as well as team members
· Possession of a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
· Successful completion of State of Massachusetts background check, DMV check and drug screen
· CPR/ First Aid training
· Comfortable with pets
· Own transportation

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 25 per week
