Job Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 (DOE)
Job Location: El, Mirage
Job Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6am - 3:30pm (OT on Saturday's)
A2Z Staffing is currently hiring qualified candidates to manufacture stainless steel duct systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under close supervision you'll be introduced to a series of duties and responsibilities with increasing complexity to include, but are not limited to the following:
- Set up work area, select and verify the materials for production, and meet daily production and quality demands in such specific areas as: grinding, rolling, seam welding, flanging, tagging; shearing.
- Measure, cut, bend, shape, and fasten thin pieces of sheet metal to specifications using tools and machines.
- Use hand tools, electronic and manual equipment, and machinery to construct sheet metal into finished products.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and procedures safely and correctly.
Requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- 1 year of experience with fabricating rectangular or round ducts
- Knowledge of sheet metal layout (proper fittings), surface grinding and metallurgy
- Willingness to learn the more complex aspects of the equipment operation involved within the round area and shear area.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, technical documents (cut sheets), safety policies, company policies and procedures.
- Ability to apply basic math skills including adding and subtracting whole numbers and fractions.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Welding and grinding
- Must be dependable, good attendance and be on time.
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
- Must pass a background check
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. continuously
- Must have the ability to reach, feel, grasp, grip, carry, push, and pull.
- Must be able to stand, bend and walk for 8 to 10 hours.
- Must be able to wear steel toe boots
- Must be able to work in a loud environment
Salary : $20 - $25
