What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mold Room Operator position at AAkron Rule Corp?
The Molding Manager will work closely with the Management team in overseeing production schedules, ensuring QC control measures over molded items are followed, inventory levels are adequate and a safe work environment is practiced at all times. The ability to manage and help oversee 7-10 people is vital to the sustainability of the department.
Responsibilities
- Maintain production schedules as outlined by management.
- Ensure raw materials list is communicated to manager so shortages are controlled.
- Maintain safe work practices across multiple platforms
- Work closely with molding support staff to develop problem solving skills and higher level processing skills that improves overall product quality
- Outline machine and mold needs to the maintenance so a PM schedules can be outlined and followed.
- Math skills are required for mixing of correct formula percentages.
- Comprehensive knowledge of blow molding, and stretch blow molding processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
