Job Description
The UX Designer will be responsible for creating a positive and productive end user experience for Client applications and websites and for maintaining a user-centric focus throughout product development.
Client seeking a senior UX and Product Design lead to help create solutions that improve education technology integration and enable parents, teachers, schools, and district leaders to focus on what is most important their students.
The UX and Product Design Lead will play a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment of technology solutions by maintaining a strong user-centric focus and driving alignment with existing work in the field.
Overseeing UX/UI designs to ensure design decisions are grounded in user experience and adhere to agency-wide design standards and industry-wide best practices
Translating research into user stories, requirements, flows, wireframes, and prototypes and collaborating on the future product roadmap
Employing user testing and outreach to ensure products meets the needs of the end users, in collaboration with partners
Partnering with the product team and other key stakeholders, including senior leadership, on design
Technical Skills
Experience in software product development, digital design, UX/UI or a related field
Designing mockups and/or wireframes that conform to UX best practices
Experience conducting user and usability research
Direct experience leading large-scale UX/UI efforts
Documented experience developing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in Figma or comparable design software
Experience ensuring designs and website confirm to federal accessibility guidelines
Documented work experience with the issue tracking software "Atlassian Jira"
