Business Development Representative (BDR) What Youll Do
- Prospect and generate new business opportunities by identifying and engaging fast-growing brands and established retailers.
- Book qualified meetings with marketing decision-makers (e.g., CMOs, Heads of Growth, and Performance Marketing Leaders).
- Conduct outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and cold calling to drive interest and secure meetings.
- Develop personalized messaging sequences using tools like HubSpot, Apollo.io, and Instantly.
- Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Charm.io to identify high-potential prospects and build target lists.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads, ensuring they align with our agencys ideal customer profile.
- Maintain a clean and accurate pipeline in HubSpot CRM, tracking all outreach and follow-ups.
- Work closely with Account Executives and leadership to ensure seamless handoff of leads.
- Stay on top of industry trends to refine outreach strategies and drive stronger engagement.
- Hit and exceed weekly/monthly quotas for meetings booked and pipeline generated.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or outbound prospecting (preferably in a digital marketing agency or ad tech environment).
- Proven track record of booking meetings with decision-makers at fast-growing brands or retailers.
- Experience using HubSpot, Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Charm.io, and Instantly (or similar tools).
- Strong cold outreach skillscomfortable with email, LinkedIn, and some cold calling.
- Highly motivated by growth, money, and career advancement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling outreach messages.
- Self-starter who thrives in a remote work environmentorganized, disciplined, and proactive.
- Based in North America and comfortable working in EST/PST time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in ahigh-growth agency environment.
- Familiarity with e-commerce, DTC brands, or retailer partnerships.
- Previous experience using automation tools for outbound sales (e.g., Instantly, Apollo.io, Clay, or similar).
